Kraken is expanding its derivatives offering by seeking to launch single-stock perpetual futures trading for US traders, according to a recent filing. The expansion will cover 10 US stocks, including Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon.

The parent company of Kraken, Payward, filed the application on September 18, 2026. As part of this new offering, Kraken aims to provide 24/5 trading access beyond regular stock-market hours.

'Stock markets close, and the events that move them don't,' Payward stated on X, highlighting the potential benefits of extended trading hours for traders responding to market-moving news outside regular hours.
