Kristen Bell has given fans a behind-the-scenes look at the recording of the first song for Frozen 3. The actress shared a video on her Instagram Stories on Friday, showing herself in the recording studio working on music for the upcoming Disney animated film. Bell, who has voiced Anna since the franchise debuted in 2013, captioned the post, "Sneak peek of the first @disneyfrozen 3 song recording!!" Although the video was shared without sound, Bell's animated performance offered a glimpse into the recording process.
In the video, Bell could be seen throwing her arms into the air and gesturing dramatically as she sang. She jokingly wrote, "And no ana can't fly this is just what i do when i sing," poking fun at her movements. Details about the third film's storyline and music have largely remained under wraps, but fellow cast member Josh Gad recently offered his own update.
Gad, who is returning as the voice of Olaf, told "Good Morning America" that the upcoming sequel has already delivered plenty of laughs during recording sessions. "It's the funniest of the three movies I've ever recorded," Gad said. "I'm laughing my butt off." The franchise is also set to continue beyond the third installment, with former Disney CEO Bob Iger previously announcing plans for both "Frozen 3" and "Frozen 4".
"Frozen 3" is scheduled for release on Nov. 24, 2027. The Walt Disney Co. is the parent company of "Good Morning America" and ABC News.
