Kuehne+Nagel Teams with Amazon for Long-Term Logistics Deal
Kuehne+Nagel International has entered into a long-term collaboration with Amazon and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The logistics company will provide support across the infrastructure life cycle, including construction, equipment deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and expansion projects for AWS.
The agreement aims to strengthen supply-chain resilience and operational efficiency as cloud infrastructure expands globally. The commercial structure of the deal includes a call option that may settle in cash or in Kuehne+Nagel shares, depending on Amazon's election.
For the second quarter of 2026, Kuehne+Nagel reported revenue of CHF 6.62 billion and net profit of CHF 268.0 million. This represents a growth of 7.64 percent in revenue and an 11.67 percent increase in net income compared to the prior year.
The market has reacted positively to the news, with Kuehne+Nagel International stock gaining 1.30 percent on October 1, 2026. However, the stock remains below its yearly high of CHF 232.80 and the market is awaiting the company's next earnings date on October 22, 2026.
