Lakeshore Lodge Progresses Ahead of 2027 Opening

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is making progress ahead of its July 1, 2027 opening at Walt Disney World Resort. New aerial photos from @bioreconstruct on X show the resort's horseshoe-shaped building layout wrapping around The Wetlands recreation area at the center.

The Wetlands is a key outdoor recreation area featuring Lakeside Lagoon zero-entry pool with a spiral waterslide, the Daydream River lazy river, Heron Shores and Otter Springs children's play areas inspired by Pocahontas, and Perspective Pond, a leisure pool and whirlpool spa with fireworks views on the Bay Lake side of the resort.

The 967 rooms at Disney's Lakeshore Lodge span various types, including resort studios, duo studios, deluxe studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, three-bedroom grand villas, and the new waterfront Lake Houses, freestanding A-frame structures sitting directly on Bay Lake. Select club level rooms will include access to The Artist's Nest, a treetop concierge lounge with Magic Kingdom fireworks views.
