Moderna Soars to New High on Promising Cancer Therapy Results
Moderna's shares have reached a new 52-week high of $176.86 after investors digested the company's announcement to present detailed data from its phase III INTerpath-001 study on intismeran autogene at the European Society for Medical Oncology Congress next month.
The therapy, being developed in collaboration with Merck, has shown promising results in treating high-risk melanoma patients. The study met its primary endpoint of recurrence-free survival and a key secondary endpoint of distant metastasis-free survival.
Although no numerical data was reported initially, the detailed results scheduled for presentation on Oct. 24 are expected to provide more insight into the treatment's efficacy and whether it can be replicated across different tumor types.
