Lâm Courts JPMorganChase, Visa for Việt Nam Investment

Top Vietnamese leader General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee and President Tô Lâm met with representatives from JPMorganChase and Visa in New York on September 23. The meeting aimed to strengthen links between Việt Nam and the international financial community.

Lâm praised JPMorganChase's reputation and contributions to Việt Nam, citing its role in advising the government and businesses on raising capital in international markets.

Rohrbaugh expressed his desire to continue cooperating with Việt Nam, investing in, and supporting Vietnamese partners in their development. He noted that the international investment community highly values Việt Nam's macro-economic stability and long-term growth potential.

Lâm emphasized that Việt Nam is pursuing ambitious growth targets and implementing key projects in infrastructure, energy, and digital transformation. He asked JPMorganChase to support Việt Nam in accessing international sources of capital, including international bond issuance, export credit, and other fundraising channels.
