Leading AI Companies Accused of Illegally Slowing Down Development

A lawsuit has been filed against four leading AI companies, alleging they made an illegal agreement to slow down their respective AI development.

The plaintiffs claim that Anthropic, OpenAI, SpaceXAI, and Google coordinated slowdown efforts in order to reduce the value consumers get from paid AI subscriptions.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California is where the lawsuit was filed on Friday.
