Lewiston Woman Passes Away After Lifetime of Service

Jeannette Michaud, an 87-year-old Lewiston resident, passed away at her home on September 19, 2026. Born in Lewiston on September 5, 1939, she was one of eight children to Henry and Lucienne Leblanc.

Michaud worked for over 25 years at the Procter & Gamble plant in Auburn before retiring at age 60. She survived four battles with cancer during her lifetime and took great pride in caring for her family and home.

A loving woman, Michaud was known for her cooking, particularly New England boiled dinners and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Her love of animals and the simple comforts of home brought happiness to her family.
