Lighting Industry Sees Surge in Innovation with Unique Products and Partnerships
Felipa Home, a company from Paraguay, is gaining attention for its unique and handcrafted lantern-style pendants made from plant fiber. The products are created by indigenous communities of artisans using traditional weaving techniques, resulting in each lantern being one-of-a-kind. They come in various colors and sizes, with Felipa Home currently exporting to Taiwan, France, Chile, and the United States.
Ridezign is also showcasing its small rechargeable lamps at Shoppe Object, which feature a pattern of dots or grids inspired by the New York City skyline. The lamps are made from either bio or recycled plastics, depending on the colorway, and are 3D printed in Brooklyn.
