Liverpool University Partners with upReach for Career Support

The University of Liverpool has partnered with upReach, a charity that helps students from underrepresented backgrounds access career opportunities. The partnership funds 60 places for University of Liverpool students to access tailored career support, mentoring, and internships.

Roman Nosov is one student benefiting from this support. He participated in Professional Experience Week with Walt Disney, insight days with KPMG and the FCA, and was shortlisted for a placement year opportunity.

Nosov joined upReach because he saw representatives at a University of Liverpool event and recognized that the organization supports people from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, including refugees like himself. He said attending Professional Experience Week with Walt Disney had a significant impact on his confidence and career aspirations.
