Long-Time Home Depot Employee Passes Away After Battle With Cancer

Graylin Mark Davis, a devoted family man and long-time Home Depot employee, passed away on September 14, 2026, at Suncoast Hospice after battling cancer. Born on August 25, 1958, in Clearwater, FL, Graylin's life was marked by his resilience and determination despite facing challenges from an early age.

He suffered brain damage as a child, but this did not hold him back from living a productive and joyous life. Graylin attended the Pinellas County School system under the UPARC program and went on to work at Home Depot in Dunedin for 37 years, first as a Key Maker and later as a Greeter.

Graylin's interests included watching local sports teams such as the Buccaneers, Rays, and Lightning, as well as enjoying Judge Judy shows. He also showed a keen interest in cars, being able to identify various makes and models on the road.

Most importantly, Graylin was deeply devoted to his faith and attended several churches throughout his life, including Macedonia M.B. Church, Countryside Christian Church, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and Skycrest Baptist Church.
