LOT Polish Airlines Launches Direct Flights from Warsaw to Hanoi

LOT Polish Airlines has launched a new direct route from Warsaw's Chopin Airport to Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, marking its fifth long-haul destination in Asia. The airline will operate three flights per week between the two cities, with departures from Warsaw on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 15:15 local time, and return flights from Hanoi on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 08:35 local time.

The route will be operated using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with the outbound flight taking around 10 hours and 25 minutes, and the return trip running roughly 11 hours and 20 minutes. The new route reflects LOT's ambition to expand its presence in Asia, further developing Warsaw as a connecting hub between Central and Eastern Europe and some of the world's fastest-growing destinations.

The airline's Board Member and Chief Commercial Officer, Robert Ludera, noted that Vietnam's rising importance for Polish business and tourism, along with its cultural and natural diversity, were key reasons behind the expansion. Hanoi is known for its heavy traffic, street vendors, and daily life centered around street-side markets and food stalls.
