Loughborough University Hosts Bishop's Lecture with Theos Director Chine McDonald

Loughborough University is hosting the fourth annual Bishop's Lecture on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The event will feature Chine McDonald, a writer, broadcaster, author, and director of Theos, the religion and society think tank.

McDonald will deliver her lecture, 'Beyond Belief: faith, diversity, and the power of community,' at 6pm. A Q&A session with the speaker will follow, and then guests are invited to a drinks and canapes reception in the Martin Hall Foyer until 8pm.

The event is part of the 'Chaplaincy Lectures' initiative, a joint effort between the Bishop of Leicester and universities in Leicester and Loughborough. The lecture will also be available online, with a BSL interpreter present for those who require it.
