Shane Lowry maintained his lead at the Amgen Irish Open on Saturday despite an unexpected distraction. The US President Donald Trump and his entourage landed at Doonbeg, Lowry's eponymous property in West Clare, during Lowry's second hole.

However, Lowry did not let the commotion divert him from his game. He continued to play with determination, describing the day as 'insane'.

The 2019 Open champion was already leading after a superb 62 on Friday night, and he remained focused on his goal despite the unexpected interruption.
