Lucid Motors has released a new software update for its Gravity SUV, bringing several exciting features to the vehicle. One of the most notable additions is Hands-Free Drive Assist, which allows drivers to take their hands off the wheel on certain highways under driver supervision. This feature, similar to General Motors' Super Cruise and Ford's BlueCruise, uses a combination of cameras and sensors to monitor the road and adjust the vehicle's speed accordingly.

The update also includes adaptive high beams, which can automatically dim the beam to prevent glare for oncoming drivers. Additionally, the navigation system now displays Google Maps point-of-interest information, including reviews, photos, and business details.

The company has been working to improve its software, having faced some issues with its initial release. The update is part of a series of over-the-air updates that have been rolled out to address these concerns. Lucid's Gravity SUV has also gained Level 4 autonomous driving capability with the help of Nvidia's autonomy stack.
