Magic Kingdom Prepares for Holiday Season with Major Changes in November
The Magic Kingdom at Disney World is gearing up for significant changes in November, marking the transition from Halloween to the holiday season. As the calendar turns, the park will begin decorating for Christmas, with most decorations going up in early November. Holiday snacks will also start appearing around the park, adding to the festive atmosphere.
One major change includes the closure of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on November 2nd for a "routine refurbishment." Disney has not specified a reopening date, but the official website suggests it may reopen in December 2026. This closure will impact some of the park’s busiest weeks, including the holiday season.
November will also see the debut of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, featuring special entertainment, holiday overlays on popular attractions, and exclusive treats. The party dates are November 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th, 27th, and 29th. However, the park will close early at 6 PM on these nights, affecting day guests who won’t be able to enjoy late-night dining or fireworks.
On non-party nights, the Happily Ever After fireworks show will take place at 8 PM each evening. Several attractions will also feature holiday overlays, including Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Mad Tea Party, Jungle Cruise, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, offering unique holiday-themed experiences for visitors.
