Magnificent Seven Stocks Reach New Record High
The Magnificent Seven group of megatech stocks has reached an all-time high according to the Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF (MAGS), which offers investors equal-weight exposure to these seven stocks. The ETF's price has topped its prior record high, set in May 2026, and now stands at a new record of about $72.20.
The gains among several Magnificent Seven stocks are significant, with AI chipmaker Nvidia (NVDA) up about 21% this year, and iPhone manufacturer Apple (AAPL) climbing 24%. Meta Platforms (META) has matched the broader market's performance, up about 13%, while online retailer Amazon (AMZN) and search giant Alphabet (GOOGL) are both up a more modest 8% in 2026.
However, Microsoft (MSFT) has inched up only about 3.5% so far this year, and all three stocks have lagged the S&P 500 index this year. Tesla (TSLA), on the other hand, is the real outlier in the group, with its share price having fallen by more than 15% this year.
