Miami Hurricanes wide receiver Malachi Toney has added another major name, image, and likeness (NIL) partnership to his growing list, this time with JPMorgan Chase. The deal, announced on Wednesday, focuses on scam awareness, particularly for young adults navigating NIL and social media opportunities. Toney shared that his own experience, nearly falling for a fake brand deal, shaped the campaign’s message.
Toney’s partnership with Chase follows recent deals with Adidas and Red Bull, making him one of the most sought-after college athletes for brand endorsements. According to On3, his NIL valuation stands at $2 million. He emphasized the importance of recognizing scams and protecting oneself, especially as college athletes become more visible online.
On the field, Toney continues to dominate, leading the FBS with 66 receptions and ranking third nationally in receiving yards (952) and touchdowns (11). Miami enters Saturday’s game against North Carolina undefeated at 7-0 and ranked No. 1, with Toney playing a pivotal role in the Hurricanes’ championship push.
