Mark O'Donovan Tapped as New Head of Human Resources at JPMorgan Chase
JPMorgan Chase has announced the appointment of Mark O'Donovan as its new head of human resources, effective January next year. The move marks a significant leadership transition within the banking giant's executive ranks.
O'Donovan succeeds Robin Leopold, who plans to retire in the first quarter of 2024 after contributing over 16 years to JPMorgan's operations. CEO Jamie Dimon credited Leopold for her pivotal role in guiding the bank through a period of unprecedented challenges.
Leopold oversaw the bank's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, adapting to evolving geopolitical landscapes, and implementing the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence across the organisation.
O'Donovan brings three decades of experience at JPMorgan Chase to his new role, having previously served as CEO of international consumer banking. He will join the bank's prestigious operating committee and relocate from London to New York for the position.
