Marriott Bonvoy Cardholders Earn Extra Points at US Supermarkets
Marriott Bonvoy cardholders may have a targeted American Express Offer available that boosts rewards at U.S. supermarkets. The deal grants an extra 4 Marriott Bonvoy points per dollar spent at eligible supermarket locations, both in-store and online. This offer is set to expire on January 31, 2027, and is capped at 5,000 bonus points per cardholder.
The bonus points stack on top of the standard rewards earned with a Marriott credit card. For example, holders of the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy® American Express® card typically earn 4x points at U.S. supermarkets, so this offer effectively doubles their earnings to 8x points during the promotion. To maximize the 5,000-point bonus, cardholders need to spend at least $1,250 at participating supermarkets.
It's important to note that not all grocery purchases qualify. Excluded are gasoline, gift card purchases, and transactions at specialty food stores, superstores, convenience stores, small corner grocery stores, and warehouse clubs. Additionally, purchases made at pharmacies or indoor vendors like coffee shops and restaurants do not count toward the bonus.
