Marvell and Nvidia Show Strong AI-Driven Revenue Growth
Marvell Technology and Nvidia, two key players in the artificial intelligence sector, have shown impressive revenue growth over the past two years. Marvell, which provides data infrastructure semiconductor solutions, reported steady increases in revenue from $1.3 billion in Q3 2024 to $2.4 billion in Q2 2026. The company launched the Teralynx T100 switch, acquired Polariton Technologies, and maintained a 1% net income margin for the quarter ended May 2, 2026.
Nvidia, known for its advanced graphics, computational, and networking solutions, experienced even more rapid growth. Its revenue surged from $30.0 billion in Q3 2024 to $81.6 billion in Q2 2026. Nvidia’s highlights include a partnership with the Japanese government for a national AI infrastructure project and the introduction of the Vera CPU architecture. The company achieved a 66% EBIT margin for the quarter ended April 26, 2026.
Revenue trends are crucial for investors as they provide a baseline for measuring a company's sales volume before expenses. Marvell’s consistent growth reflects increasing demand for its solutions, while Nvidia’s accelerating revenue highlights its dominance in the AI semiconductor market. Nvidia’s larger sales and rapid expansion underscore its central role in the AI ecosystem.
Marvell’s role as a “picks and shovels” provider in the AI era is evident in its lower sales totals compared to Nvidia. However, its steady growth indicates strong customer adoption. Marvell’s stock reached a 52-week high of $329.88 in June after its addition to the S&P 500 index.
