MASTERINVEST Kapitalanlage GmbH made its first investment in International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) by purchasing 22,111 shares valued at approximately $6.218 million in the second quarter.

This move is one of many new positions taken by institutional investors and hedge funds in IBM during the same period.

BlackRock Inc., for instance, bought a new position in IBM worth around $21.586 billion, while Bank of America Corp DE acquired a new stake valued at $4.214 billion.
