McDonald's Serves Up Support for Feeding America in Kentucky

McDonald's locations in the Bowling Green area are teaming up with Feeding America, Kentucky's Heartland to help families struggling with food insecurity. From October 12th to 16th, participating McDonald's restaurants will donate 10% of all à la carte fry sales to the regional food bank. This campaign, called 'Side of Support', aims to raise funds for food distribution and partner pantries across 42 counties.

The issue of food insecurity is a pressing one in Kentucky, with over 211,000 residents struggling to access nutritious meals. Feeding America, Kentucky's Heartland relies on community partnerships like this campaign to supply regional food banks and meal programs serving thousands of local families.

Customers can contribute to their local community by purchasing any size order of à la carte fries at participating McDonald's locations during the campaign week.
