McDonald's Thailand Spreads Joy through Braille on Mother's Day
McDonald's Thailand and Leo Thailand teamed up to create 'Touch of Smile', a campaign that celebrates the joy of Mother's Day. The initiative aims to spread happiness through Braille, making it accessible to people with visual impairments.
The campaign features an unscripted film where children with visual impairments discover a message in Braille for the first time: 'Just want you to know… Mom smiles every time she sees you smile.'
This heartwarming moment shows that true happiness can be felt, even if it's not seen. The film was launched ahead of Mother's Day on August 12th and will continue to inspire future instalments.
For every Happy Meal purchased between August 1st-31st at McDonald's restaurants in Thailand, the proceeds will be donated to support programs that improve the quality of life and learning opportunities for children with visual impairments at the Bangkok School for the Blind.
