Medium Build Brings Joy and Authenticity with 'King of Having Fun' Album Release
Nick Carpenter's latest project, Medium Build, has released its new album 'King of Having Fun' ahead of a major fall headline tour. The album is a collaborative effort with Carpenter's longtime collaborators, including musical director Paul Rogers and engineer Jimmy Mansfield.
'This album is maybe the best and most important thing I've ever made,' Carpenter says in an interview. 'I got all my favorite people in a room and we had fun.' The result is 14 tracks that blend country, rock, indie, and R&B to create a unique sound.
The album follows Medium Build's 2024 release 'Country' and includes previously released singles such as 'Armor,' 'In My Gut,' and 'Home Depot.' Carpenter made his official Grand Ole Opry debut on September 5, just before the album's release. He also performed at Grimey's that day.
