Google Meet and Microsoft Teams have improved their interoperability, allowing supported meeting-room hardware to join calls from either platform.

This new feature is a result of Google's preview last month, which aimed to remove barriers between the two platforms.

The interoperability feature enables Android-based meeting room hardware to join either a Microsoft Teams or Google Meet call, making it easier for users to participate in meetings regardless of the platform used by their organization or clients.

According to Google, the feature began rolling out on October 1 and should reach eligible Google Workspace customers within 1-3 days.
