Police in Nassau County, New York, made an unusual arrest on Friday after spotting three men unloading rifles and machetes from a large crate in the parking lot of a Home Depot store. The officers were on routine patrol when they saw the men transferring multiple rifles into their vehicles.

'It's just crazy to do something like that in front of people,' said Westbury resident Stephen Mentovay, who was shocked by the brazen act. 'It's usually a pretty tame area.'

Following an investigation, police arrested all three men and recovered rifles, thousands of rounds of ammunition, machetes, knives, and suspected cocaine from the scene.

During their investigation, authorities discovered that two of the suspects had entered the country illegally and were subsequently turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The two Rivera Lopez brothers, Gilberto and Rudi W., are charged with various crimes related to firearms possession, while Manuel Gutierrez Pineda faces similar charges.
