Mentos and Coke Video Sparks AI Frenzy on Social Media

A viral video on social media shows a man seemingly flying high into the sky after dropping a large quantity of Mentos candies into a pool of spilled Coca-Cola.

The video, which was shared on X by an account named TechHalla, begins with the man approaching a truck carrying Coca-Cola that had spilled onto the road from a broken-down vehicle. He collects some of the drink in a jar and then enjoys it.

After collecting the Mentos candies from another truck, the man drops them into the sea of Coca-Cola on the road. Within moments, a huge burst of foam appears, propelling him high into the air.

The video has sparked speculation online, with many users claiming that it was generated using artificial intelligence (AI). The original images were reportedly created using GPT Image 2.5, while Seedance 2.5 was used to animate the sequence.
