Merck Beats Q2 Sales Expectations on Keytruda Strength, Raises Full-Year Forecast

Pharmaceutical giant Merck reported better-than-expected second-quarter sales on Tuesday, driven by the strength of its top-selling cancer treatment Keytruda.

The company's revenue for the quarter came in at $16.61 billion, a 5% increase from last year and above analysts' average estimate of $16.36 billion, according to LSEG data.

Keytruda sales rose 5% to $8.37 billion in the quarter, exceeding analysts' estimates of $8.07 billion.
