Merck & Co.'s Remigromig Meets Primary Endpoint in Phase 2b/3 Trial
Merck & Co.'s stock price remained unchanged at EUR 128.39 in pre-market trading on October 1, 2026.
This is according to data from Lang & Schwarz, which reported a bid of EUR 128.10 and an ask of EUR 128.68 for the company's shares.
The price stability comes after Merck announced that its investigational remigromig met the primary endpoint in the pivotal Phase 2b/3 BRUNELLO trial in adults with diabetic macular edema.
In a September 24, 2026 release, Merck said that both the 0.5-milligram and 0.8-milligram doses of remigromig demonstrated non-inferiority to 0.5-milligram ranibizumab for mean change from baseline in best-corrected visual acuity at week 52.
The company also reported that both doses were generally well tolerated, but higher rates of proliferative diabetic retinopathy, vitreous hemorrhage, and treatment discontinuations due to adverse events were observed in the remigromig groups compared with ranibizumab.
