The Merck Foundation, in partnership with African and Asian First Ladies, has announced a call for applications for its 2026 Fashion, Song, and Film Awards under two themes: 'More Than a Mother' and 'Diabetes & Hypertension'.

The theme of 'More Than a Mother' Awards is to raise awareness on social issues such as breaking infertility stigma, supporting girl education, women empowerment, ending child marriage, ending FGM, and stopping GBV at all levels. The awards aim to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about prevention and early detection of Diabetes and Hypertension.
