Merck Launches Bioprocess Media Center in Daejeon Ahead of Full Site Opening

Merck has opened its imMEDIAte ADVANTAGE Center in Daejeon, South Korea, ahead of the full site launch on October 29, 2026. The center provides customers with small-scale, customized bioprocess materials for process development before moving to larger-scale manufacturing.

The new center uses manufacturing technologies aligned with those at Merck's global sites and its upcoming Daejeon facility, allowing customers to use small-volume products developed at the center as they scale up production. This means that customers can access critical pre-GMP capabilities immediately while the Daejeon site prepares for its grand opening.
