Merck's Tulisokibart Therapy Shows Promising Results in Phase 2b Trial
Merck & Co Inc (NYSE: MRK) has announced positive results from its Phase 2b clinical trial of tulisokibart, an experimental therapy for hidradenitis suppurativa.
The study showed that 72% of patients on the high dose and 64% on the medium dose achieved the primary endpoint, Hidradenitis Suppurativa Clinical Response 50 (HiSCR50), significantly outperforming placebo by 37% and 29%, respectively, over a 16-week period.
These results suggest that tulisokibart could become a valuable addition to Merck's pharmaceutical portfolio pending further clinical development.
