Meta's newly launched AI assistant, Muse, has taken the mobile app store charts by storm. In its first six days of existence, the personalized AI agent accumulated over 902,000 downloads in the US, topping both Apple's iOS App Store and Google Play rankings.

The tool allows users to build customized agents that can handle complex tasks across the web, referencing personal context from Meta platforms like Facebook Marketplace and Instagram. It also integrates with third-party services such as Gmail and Google Calendar to complete tasks or book appointments on behalf of the user.

Meta is monetizing Muse with free basic access and subscription tiers priced at $20 and $100 per month for higher usage limits, alongside API pricing for enterprise developers.

The strong early response has provided investors with a tangible sign of returns on Meta's massive capital expenditures. The company's stock jumped over 11% on Monday, putting it on pace for its best monthly gain in 13 years, according to analysts at Evercore ISI.
