Mickey Mouse Souvenir Plates Debuting at Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World is introducing four new Mickey Mouse-shaped souvenir plates to select quick-service restaurants across its four theme parks. Guests will have the option to add a plate to their entrée for an additional fee, though exact pricing and release dates have not been announced. Each plastic plate features the classic Mickey silhouette, with a larger center section for the main meal and two smaller wells in the ears for sides or sauces. The plates come in different colors, each representing a different park and showcasing its iconic symbol as a smiling character.
The Magic Kingdom plate is bright blue with Cinderella Castle at the center, while EPCOT’s green plate stars Spaceship Earth. Disney’s Hollywood Studios gets a purple plate featuring the Hollywood Tower Hotel, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers a yellow plate with the Tree of Life. The plates also include the Walt Disney World logo along the bottom. The artwork is designed by Disney artist Jerrod Maruyama, known for his “Kingdom of Cute” interpretations of Disney characters and park icons.
The plates will be available at nine quick-service locations, including Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café and Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom, Connections Eatery and Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT, Backlot Express, Rosie’s All-American Café, and Catalina Eddie’s in Hollywood Studios, and Flame Tree Barbecue and Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom. The plates will remain available while supplies last, so guests eager to collect the entire set may want to act quickly.
