Microsoft Caps Cloud Gaming Hours for Game Pass Subscribers

Microsoft has decided to impose limits on cloud gaming for its Game Pass subscribers due to rising usage and infrastructure costs.

The changes will take effect in November, with Ultimate subscribers getting 15 hours of cloud gaming per month, Premium members receiving 10 hours, and Essential subscribers limited to five hours.

Eligible users who exceed their monthly limit can purchase additional hours through the Xbox Store. Microsoft estimates that around 4% of Game Pass customers will be affected by these changes.

The move is aimed at controlling costs associated with cloud gaming, as the company notes that usage increases, so do expenses.
