Microsoft Drops $10B on Middle East Cloud, AI Infrastructure
Microsoft has announced plans to invest over $10 billion in cloud and AI infrastructure across the Middle East by 2030. The investment will support digital transformation initiatives in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The company aims to expand regional cloud capacity, launch new capabilities, and support long-term infrastructure development as these countries pursue large-scale AI strategies.
Microsoft has framed this investment as part of a new regional framework focused on four Gulf markets where national AI programs and sovereign-cloud requirements are driving demand for localized infrastructure.
