Microsoft Flight Simulator Adds Exclusive Airbus A380 to Marketplace

Microsoft Flight Simulator has announced an exclusive addition to its marketplace: the Airbus A380. The aircraft is considered one of aviation's most ambitious initiatives, boasting technological advancements and sheer scale that place it in a league of its own.

The Airbus A380 is the world's only 'superjumbo' passenger airliner, produced by European company Airbus. Its development began in the late 1980s as an attempt to surpass the Boeing 747. The aircraft was designed with three main goals: carry more passengers than the 747, have a greater range, and operate more efficiently.

The A380 features a full-length double-deck fuselage, large staircases connecting the two levels, and a twin-aisle layout for each deck. It is powered by four high-bypass turbofan engines, either the Rolls-Royce Trent 900 or the Engine Alliance GP7200, generating up to approximately 75,000 pounds of thrust.
