Microsoft Loses Two Senior Executives Amid Leadership Shakeup
Two senior executives at Microsoft are leaving their positions. Peter Lee, who headed up Microsoft Science and was formerly in charge of Microsoft Research, is departing. He described his new role as a 'once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join an elite team' that he has been dreaming about since childhood.
Ryan Roslansky, former CEO of LinkedIn, is also leaving Microsoft after taking on a broader role last year that included overseeing Microsoft Office. He stated that continuing in this position would have required him and his family to relocate from the San Francisco Bay Area, something he was not prepared to do.
