Microsoft is likely to deliver the best free cash flow in 2026 among its competitors Amazon, Alphabet, and Meta. This assessment comes from a recent report that highlights the massive sums these companies will spend on data centers. While all four companies are expected to have less cash leftover after investing in data centers, Microsoft's financial situation appears more favorable.

According to the report, Nvidia experienced a similar 'Double Down' signal in 2009, which led to significant returns for investors who bought into the company at the time. Now, a similar signal is flashing for a smaller company that could potentially deliver similarly impressive results.

The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team has identified the top 10 stocks for investors to buy now, but Microsoft wasn't one of them. However, historical data suggests that the team's picks have delivered significant returns in the past, with Netflix and Nvidia being two notable examples. The average return on investment from the Stock Advisor's recommendations is 965%, significantly outperforming the S&P 500.
