Microsoft has announced that Windows on Arm-based RTX Spark chipsets will be available in Nvidia PCs, including at least one Microsoft Surface PC, by the fall of 2026. This move comes after Apple's recent announcement of new Arm-based Apple Silicon chips and Macs.

Klaus Diaconu, a partner director at Microsoft, stated that 'the market is sending a clear signal' regarding customer demand for powerful and efficient Windows on Arm devices and experiences.

Microsoft highlights the growth of the Windows app ecosystem, with over 7,000 verified apps and games available for Windows on Arm. The company also touts its dedicated Arm Advisory Service as part of its App Assure app compatibility program.

The software giant claims to have seen major advances in Windows on Arm compatibility across various categories since the last update a year ago, with dozens of new entries in each category.
