Microsoft Teams Up with NVIDIA to Showcase Latest PC Innovations at October Event
Microsoft is set to hold an event on October 7 in San Francisco where CEO Satya Nadella, EVP of Windows and Devices Pavan Davuluri, and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will discuss the latest advancements in Windows, NVIDIA RTX Spark, Surface, and the broader PC ecosystem.
The event follows IFA 2026 in Berlin, where NVIDIA and its partners announced that new PCs powered by its RTX Spark chip will arrive in October 2026. Microsoft has been collaborating with NVIDIA and its PC partners to accelerate local AI on Windows.
One of the products expected to be showcased during the event is the Surface Laptop Ultra, which was first announced at Build 2026 in June. The laptop will likely be a premium offering, similar to other PCs using Nvidia's ARM-based RTX Spark chip, but it aims to respond to Apple's new Mac lineup with M6 and M5 Ultra chips.
Microsoft may also use the event to announce the public rollout of Windows 11 version 26H2, the next feature update for the OS. The update will be delivered as an enablement package to Windows 11 users.
