Microsoft Teams Up with Saudi AI Startup HUMAIN for Regional AI Transformation
Microsoft has partnered with Saudi AI startup HUMAIN to drive artificial intelligence transformation in the Middle East. The long-term partnership aims to integrate HUMAIN's Arabic large language models into Microsoft's AI ecosystem, providing support for organizations deploying AI solutions.
HUMAIN, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), has previously collaborated with tech giants such as Qualcomm, AMD, and AWS. The company has also established data centers in Saudi Arabia and developed large language models specifically tailored for the Arabic language and culture.
The partnership will initially focus on integrating HUMAIN's ALLAM model into Microsoft's AI ecosystem. This will enable developers and enterprises to utilize HUMAIN's Arabic language models within Microsoft's AI ecosystem, building, customizing, and deploying AI applications and agents specifically designed for Arabic language requirements.
