Microsoft to Reveal Local AI Capabilities at Windows-Surface Event
Microsoft is set to hold its first major event in over two years, and it's going to be a big one. The company has announced a Windows and Surface event scheduled for October 7 in San Francisco.
The event will focus on local AI capabilities on Windows PCs, which Microsoft says will enable users to harness the power of artificial intelligence without needing to send data to the cloud.
Attendees can also expect announcements about the availability and pricing of the Surface Laptop Ultra, which was unveiled in June. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is expected to be in attendance, alongside Microsoft Executive Vice President of Windows and Devices Pavan Davuluri and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
