Microsoft Unveils Dynamics 365 Activate in Public Preview for Salesforce Migrations

Microsoft has released Dynamics 365 Activate in public preview for organizations moving from Salesforce to Dynamics 365. This AI-assisted service analyzes a Salesforce CRM environment, recommends migration actions, and automates parts of migration execution.

The preview is not an end-to-end converter, but rather a discovery-led migration accelerator with some automated execution.

Dynamics 365 Activate starts by building a structured view of the source CRM environment, profiling data and entities, identifying relationships and dependencies, examining business processes, and surfacing customizations that require attention.

Implementation teams can use the resulting blueprint to inform migration planning, solution design, configuration, migration, testing, and deployment.
