Microsoft Unveils Frontier Accelerate for Marketplace

Microsoft has announced the availability of Frontier Accelerate for Marketplace on September 28. The program is designed to give eligible software companies a staged path to publish B2B products, including AI apps and agents, generate Marketplace transactions, and pursue additional go-to-market support.

The three stages of Frontier Accelerate are Build & Publish, Grow, and Differentiate. The first stage helps partners prepare a solution for publication and transactions, while the second focuses on generating Marketplace sales and demand. The third provides opportunities tied to established performance, including closer engagement with Microsoft sellers and potential eligibility for a certified software designation.

Eligible software partners can enter a no-cost experience with self-service guidance, skilling, listing support, and benefits that become available as they meet Marketplace milestones. A paid Premium option adds technical consultations, a named engagement manager, development resources, and further marketing support. Microsoft lists up to $30,000 in Azure development and test credits for new Premium partners during the Build & Publish stage.
