Microsoft's Dynamics 365 Activate Migrates Salesforce Data

Microsoft has announced the public preview of Dynamics 365 Activate, a service that helps migrate data from Salesforce to Dynamics 365. The tool analyzes the source environment, produces recommendations, and automates parts of migration execution.

The service currently only supports migrations from Salesforce, with additional CRM and ERP migration scenarios planned for later this year and in 2026. However, no complete list of supported platforms or release sequence has been published.

While Activate can automate some aspects of the migration process, business decisions such as redesigning or approving the destination system are still left to human judgment.
