Microsoft's Roslansky Leaves Amid Family Obligations and Copilot Shift
Microsoft's Executive Vice President of M365 apps Ryan Roslansky is leaving the company. This decision comes after he spent the past year leading his team in combining product, engineering, and design foundations for Microsoft's upcoming phase of work on Copilot.
Roslansky had previously served as CEO of LinkedIn starting in 2020 before stepping down earlier this year. He will remain at Microsoft through the end of the calendar year in an advisory role to CEO Satya Nadella.
The reason for Roslanksy's departure is due to his family living in the San Francisco Bay Area, while Microsoft's next work phase would require him to be based full-time in Redmond, Washington.
