MidFirst Bank has acquired a new stake in Honeywell Aerospace (NASDAQ:HONA) stock, purchasing 25,367 shares worth approximately $5.6 million during the second quarter, according to its latest 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The purchase was made as part of the fund's investment strategy, which aims to capitalize on growth opportunities in the aerospace industry.

Honeywell Aerospace has been a subject of interest among analysts, who have issued various price targets ranging from $209 to $255. BMO Capital Markets dropped its target from $276 to $209 and set an 'outperform' rating for the company.

Other institutional investors have also shown interest in Honeywell Aerospace, with several purchasing new stakes in the second quarter. The company's stock opened at $161.56 on Tuesday, with a market capitalization of $51.21 billion and a PE ratio of 86.40.
