Mufg Securities Boosts Stake in Apple Amid Surge in Institutional Demand

Mufg Securities Americas Inc. increased its stake in Apple by 8.9% during the second quarter, according to a recent filing with the SEC.

The company now owns 442,363 shares of AAPL, worth approximately $128 million, and accounts for about 6.6% of Mufg's investment portfolio.

This is not an isolated instance; other hedge funds have also been buying Apple stock in recent quarters, with several acquiring new stakes worth tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars.

Institutional investors now hold a significant 67.73% stake in AAPL.
